AsiaBerlin Expansion Lab Visiting Kyoto / Fukui

Expansion Labはベルリン経産省経済エネルギー公共企業局主宰のアジア圏内の拠点都市から起業家や投資家、 エコシステムビルダー、 政策立案者らがベルリンに集い、多様なテーマのイベントを通じて、スタートアップ・エコシステム同士をつなぐイベント「AsiaBerlin Summit」内のイニシアチブで、2015年にベルリンのオープンコワーキングスペース「betahaus Berlin」の一部として設立された「betahausX」によって運営されています。

betahausXは数年にわたり、300の企業クライアントにサービスを提供、800のエコシステムツアーを企画、3000以上の国際的なスタートアップと関わりました。
具体的にはビジネス・エコシステムを構築し、イベントやピッチング・コンペティションを開催。海外スタートアップのドイツおよびヨーロッパ市場への参入を支援してきました。

Expansion Labは日本と韓国、シンガポールとインドネシア、そしてインドの3つのエリアに焦点が当てられています。本プログラムは、通常ではアクセスが困難な市場において人脈を構築するまたとない機会を提供することを目標とし、参加者は、ネットワークを構築したり主要な機関を訪問したり、現地の貴重な見識を得て、露出する機会を数多く得ることを目的にしています。

betahausXの日本国内ローカルパートナーである合同会社basicmathでは、Impact Hub Kyoto様や福井県様側との進行・調整役を担わせていただき、スタートアップの方々、ベンチャー企業及び各地域でエコシステムに関与されています方々と、ベルリンのこのプログラムに参加するベンチャー企業や関係者のご紹介と交流を兼ねた交流会のご協力をさせていただいております。

ExpansionLab 2023 in Kyoto will be held at Impact Hub Kyoto on Thursday, September 28, 2023, and Expansion Lab visiting Fukui on Friday, September 29, 2023.

The Expansion Lab is an event organized by the Berlin Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Public Enterprises that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem builders, and policy makers from hub cities across Asia to connect startup ecosystems through a variety of themed events. It is an initiative within the AsiaBerlin Summit and is run by betahausX, which was founded in 2015 as part of the betahaus Berlin open coworking space.

Over the years, betahausX has served 300 corporate clients, organized 800 ecosystem tours, and engaged with over 3000 international startups.
Specifically, they have created business ecosystems, organized events and pitching competitions. They has helped international startups enter the German and European markets.

The Expansion Lab focuses on three areas: Japan and Korea, Singapore and Indonesia, and India. The program aims to provide a unique opportunity to build contacts in markets that are normally difficult to access. Participants will have numerous opportunities to network, visit key institutions, and gain valuable local insight and exposure.

basicmath LLC, the local partner of betahausX in Japan, will be facilitating and coordinating with Impact Hub Kyoto and Fukui Prefecture to bring together startups, venture companies, and others involved in the ecosystem in each region, as well as with the local community in Berlin. We will be coordinating a social event to introduce startups, venture companies, and others involved in the ecosystem in the region and to meet the venture companies and people participating in the program.
